4autoinsurancequote CEO James Shaffer:
It’s almost scary how bad the average American man is at driving.Blame it on whatever you want — high testosterone, higher propensity to take risks, or higher levels of aggression, but the fact remains — men simply make too many mistakes behind the wheel.
It defies the stereotype. Not a big surprise, as men get in more accidents, get more tickets and as a result pay more for auto insurance. More here.
My wife is a better driver than I. She took advanced drivers ed. They’d go on an unopened interstate and as the student drove, the instructor would randomly grab the wheel and give it a hard yank.
I don’t think it wasn’t graded pass/fail. It was survive/die.
